How accessible is this website and applications?

These sites and services (including our application(s)) are run by CriticalArc Pty Limited who is committed to providing accessibility to our services and enabling as many people as possible to use them. For example, this means that you should be able to:
  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
  • Screen reader compatible for supported Android and iOS operating
  • Option for either verbal/aural or text communications with responders
  • Speech to text function
  • Ability for push notifications to be sent with both audible and vibration alerts

    • We regularly carry out external VPAT repost on what improvements we need to do to make it more accessible and are always improving our services in this regard. As such a number of non-compliant elements from the more VPAT may already have been corrected as per this report’s date.     Given the nature and size of our organisation, we are deploying our resource proportionately in order to meet the needs of the business whilst ensuring that we comply with requirements to make our websites accessible.     Content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations PDFs and other documents

    Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential to providing our services. For example, we have PDFs with information on how users can access our services, and forms published as Word documents.
    The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. For example, we do not plan to fix

    Live Video 

    We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
