COVID Safety Guidelines

Working together to protect us all

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the upcoming 2023 Annual SafeZone Conference!

Your safety and that of all our exhibitors, partners, visitors, contractors and staff is our highest priority.

While seated in meeting rooms or offices colleagues, unless exempt, should wear a face covering where social distancing cannot be maintained

As per government guidance, participants are not required to wear a face covering while seated in cafes and hospitality settings.

These measures are being introduced in response to the government advice regarding new variants of Covid 19. As you will be aware, this is an evolving situation, to which we continue to closely monitor and respond. We will provide further updates as and when any new guidance is issued.

We would like to reassure you that case rates within our community remain low and we know that vaccination rates within the student population are high. However, we encourage all staff and students to continue to take Lateral Flow Tests before attending campus. Testing kits are freely available across campus.

Please do not come onto campus if you have symptoms of Covid-19 until you have received a negative PCR test.

In line with the latest guidance from government, we have elected to ask our attendees (to include customers, prospects, partners, exhibitors, venue and organiser staff) to please review the policy below to ensure compliance.  We ask that if you are not in compliance, that you take the necessary steps to be compliant.

Prior to attending the event all attendees are requested to fulfil one of the following obligations:

A. Complete a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival

B. Receive a negative Lateral flow or PCR test result through text or e-mail, received within 72 hours prior to attending the event

C. Show immunity with a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

Please notify us if you do not anticipate being able to fulfil one of these obligations.

Our COVID Commitment

As coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions are lifted, it is important that we all use personal judgement to manage our own risk. While no situation is risk free, there are actions you can take to protect yourself and others when travelling.

We want to make it as safe as possible for everyone to attend the SafeZone Conference and we will use a common-sense approach to ensure you can attend with confidence.

  • All attendees must agree NOT to attend if they answer YES to any of the following questions

Are you feeling unwell, including a high temperature, new continuous cough and a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste?

Are you currently required to isolate following a visit to an area or country where quarantine is required upon return?

Have you been told to self-isolate by a government test and trace service?

Is anyone in your household suffering with COVID-19 symptoms?

Have you been in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19 or anyone who has been showing symptoms?

  • All attendees must agree to leave immediately should they develop COVID-19 symptoms during the event.
  • All attendees must agree to be considerate to those around them at all times and respectful of all our Safety measures at the event.
